As a photographer, I often hear the words,  ‘‘Oh no it’s ok just the kids’, ‘I don’t feel like I look good enough to have my picture taken’ ‘I’ve just had my baby’. Which as much as I understand all of that, my response will always be ‘Get in that picture or you will regret it later - you can never get that time back’. Whether it’s a newborn, a yearly family photo or a wedding. The reason I say this? I am that person that regrets it. I was never in any photos. There is probably only a handful of pictures that I have of me with my two girls when they were small. This time really does go by so quickly. I now have an 11 and 8 year old! I made the decision that from now on I’m getting in that picture. Two reasons for this. I want my children to see that it doesn’t matter how you look, you need to embrace every part of life and also I want them to have memories to look back on.  So the next photo shoot you have get in that picture!
